Now Vegan

I got very excited when I saw this book on the shelf at Whitcoulls! I had almost given up on Whitcoulls when it comes to craft and cooking but they have redeemed themselves! So I decided I better buy it. It is a lovely book and I see on Amazon that it isn't actually available yet. Double points for Whitcoulls.

Choc Chip Cookies

Yum Yum. I baked these over the weekend. They are from the cookbook Vegan Baking. They are UBER yummy and definately going to be made again - just not when I am the only one eating them! This exciting new adventure into vegan cooking has meant I have been trying lots of baked goods - many of which are not good for the waistline...

Eggplant and Chickpea Stew

I tested out my new book tonight and made this. Eggplants were finally on special. Woohoo!

Yum yum. The parsley and coriander are courtesy of Apple's garden. We both benefit!

Another Book

I also ordered this book. It doesn't have enough pictures for me, but there are lots of yummy recipes in there. It also has a good section at the front about nutrition. I think by eating vegan I am going to be eating better than I ever have - simply because I am more paranoid about missing out on nutrients.

I plan on doing a bit of cooking tonight so stay tuned for some pics. Hopefully the photos will look all arty and cool like on other peoples blogs!

Yum Yum

Look what arrived for me today...

It is an amazing book filled with yummy pictures. I will post some pics of my creations (if I don't eat them all before I take the picture!) I have only recently gone vegan and have just discovered vegan chocolate.....oh boy.
